We are busy in Connected Wind Services and expanding our services to offshore, we are therefore looking for WTG technicians who can be a part of this new business unit. The position will be based on a 14/14 rotation, meaning 14 days of work and 14 days off.
Connected Wind Services is Denmark’s leading independent service provider within Wind turbine generator maintenance and repairs. This and other tasks we have performed since 1987 and are currently servicing around 1000 Wind turbine generators in Denmark. Our position as a strong, independent service provider is based on these 3 business areas: service, main component exchange and spare part sales.
With the mix of mechanical and electrical expertise we offer total solutions, from installation support and supervision to daily maintenance and repair tasks to main component exchange. And with our innovative surveillance technology, we guarantee a stable and secure 24/7 surveillance of the systems.
Counsel clients on the best solution.
Our most important task is to secure that our clients get a top professional service and that their Wind turbine generators under service by Connected Wind Services have the highest availability. Our service department works closely with warehouse, technical support and surveillance center.
WTG Technician.
As Offshore technician you will be part of a skilled group of peers that you will be working with. Your base will be your home address, and you will be mobilized from there.
The daily tasks will be coordinated between the responsible service manager, service planner and team lead. As a technician you are technically skilled and put an honor in performing excellent work. You have a good sense of humor and can communicate well to the client.
Responsibilities
- Complies with all HSEQ guidelines
- Support, guide and inform our clients during visits at their assets
- Perform service, analyze and rectify faults in their assets
- Secure that the works are done effectively and in high quality
- Reporting and inform service manager, service planner and team lead
Qualifications
- You have a trade education within electrical or mechanical field
- You can read Service manuals, E-plans and technical drawings
- Experience with troubleshooting and service on wind turbines is a plus
- You have good communication skills and IT-knowledge
- You have a systematical approach, analytical and problem-solving competencies
- You must have a valid B-driving license
- You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
